Life goes on..

A few weeks have past, and ive realized i take far more pics on my phone then the camera! (if im lucky enough to get pics at all! eep!) Anyways... this past week Brendon has been fighting a nasty cold.... crossing my fingers none of the rest of us get it!
I decided not to take either kid in for their check up this month... as we are postponing shots so I went and got a scale instead. Kenzie weighed in at 24.4 pounds (18 months) and Macie weighed in at 16 pounds (2 months)!! We wont talk about how much I weigh... :) I have been losing every week so thats good.. ive found time is near close to none when we are talking about doing something for myself. :P (thats ok.. i wouldnt trade my life for anything!) <3
I would say that we have some healthy lil girlies.. and for that I am thankful!
Dad finally got to come and meet Macie... it was lots of fun having mom and dad here for a few days! We got more work in the basement done, paint picked up for Macies room, new plants to replace my dead ones, tried some new recipes (thanks to pinterest) and lots of snuggles in! However, we also had our first big owie for Makenzie. It is NO fun when a child gets hurt... i have officially learned. :(  She was running and landing on a pillow, however, she overshot the pillow and landed on our stone fireplace hearth. Ahhhh.. Its healing nicely! :)

Happy Birthday to my amazing wonderful hubby.. (feb 7) We started dating on his birthday 8 years ago.... wow...!

She is officially rolling over! She tends to do it when she gets worked up.. her legs go up, head goes up and over she goes. If shes propped up on anything laying down she lifts up her head and over she goes again. Yes..... our kids move.

I laid Macie on the floor, and Kenzie comes over with her baby to lay on the floor. That baby and blanket go everywhere with us... :)

Growing too fast...

Today Macie is TWO MONTHS old!! And my oldest peanut is a year and a half. Wow.... That being said I am one lucky mama.. two beautiful, spirited, ants-in-their-pants, loving little girls. :)

Kenzie LOVES to hold Macie. Whenever I get done nursing her or she realizes in her playing that Macie isnt sleeping, shes asking to hold her. One day I told her no... she threw a fit so I set Macie on top of her. :) Lots of giggles came out of that little girl who a few seconds before was screaming. 

We have another cheeser in the family! :)

Ok picture taking is over...

Almost 2 months old!!!!! 

Its hard to think that two months have already passed since we were at the hospital delivering this little chunky monkey. We love her to pieces! She is so smiley now, cooing and very attentive to everything. Shes been sleeping really well! (to bed at 8:30-9, and wakes up once around 3:30-4am, back to sleep til 8-9am) This will change I know... because Kenzie was like this too at the beginning. :) I am curious how much she weighs, as she is now in 6 month clothes! She doesnt every stop moving, her arms and legs go go go. We have been pretty lucky with happy babes! 

Kenzie is growing too! Packing away most of the 18 month clothes and moving on to 24-2T. She just got her 18 month pics taken so anxiously awaiting those! She makes us laugh... alot. Shes soaking stuff in these days..  learning new words..(gentle, turtle, banana (sounds like b-lala), etc!) She is a smartie pants tho, and knows everything you say even if you arent talking to her. Its quite amazing these little minds! She also loves to pick out her own outfits, gets quite excited when she gets new ones, loves to make faces at herself in the mirror, carries her baby around with her EVERYWHERE, carries a bag around and fills it full of things, always talking on a cell phone, loves trying on shoes..... does she sound like a girl to you??? :)
