Much to my dismay it seems like its hard to sit down and get this going, Kenzie and daddy are still in bed, and im listening to Macie play away as I finally get to this on what looks to be a hot lazy Saturday. (Yes, those are the best...) Brendon is getting antsy to be snowmobiling... but Im hoping these last few months of summer last a loooong time. :)
Well.... the kids are continuing to thrive here.. Macie is already 7m and 20lbs. She is pulling herself up on anything she can get ahold of and doesnt ever really sit still. (are we suprised following big sis? nope) She does the army crawl, quickly getting anywhere she wants to be. We often here "WHOA BABY!" from big sis. However, Makenzie is usually saying "coming macie?" She now has her two bottom teeth and appears to still be teething.. so we may see more in the near future! Wearing 12-18m clothes she is doing ok fitting into Kenzies clothes from last summer. :) Macie has mastered the art of babbling and is usually wearing a big grin! This past week she also suprised us by drinking out of a straw!
Kenzie is almost TWO! (this really doesnt seem possible.) She is changing by the day as well.. talking alot and understanding alot too. She still loves shoes, being outside and her baby dolls of course. She is really into picking flowers and playing with the rocks. All about "big trucks" loves seeing airplanes, cant get enough of chapstick, lotion, loves reading books, talking on the phone (make believe or real) :) She loves pockets and buttons.. loves laughing with playing with her sister (when she isnt taking away her toys and bonking her over the head) :) I feel like Im not even close to her crazy loving personality but shes proved to be well rounded!
We feel very fortunate to have two happy healthy active little girls... they make life well entertained and full of love! :)

We had fun celebrating the marriage of Melissa and Austin Ellingson last month.. its was hot but beautiful! fun to see relatives we hadnt in a while!
