The month of February was quite the month here! We managed to bring a nasty cold home from the Library at story time.... we were sharing colors with to sick snotty kids.. so I counted down the days til we got it.. sure enough! :( It lasted a few weeks, thankfully with nothing more then being really stuffed up and not wanting to eat. (thanks essential oils!) At the end of our colds, I ended up in the hospital to have an emergency surgery.. (thanks to a ruptured cyst and an abdomen full of blood... a LOT of pain later and 4 incisions, much better and hoping it never happens again!!)
Was so very thankful for my fabulous sister Emily for coming and being with me while daddy was home with the girls, and staying with the girls while daddy was waiting for me to get out of surgery. What a crazy emotional few days!

This little stink pot LOVES sitting on the kitchen table chairs like a big girl. She climbs up and down them all day.. (and is right now as I type this..)
Whoops.. not in order here, but another of little Miss in daddys shirt. She kept looking down and smiling. :)
We are still working on Kenzie getting potty trained.. she has moments of going on the potty well, then not wanting to go at all. We will get there! :) Shes fun to carry a conversation with now, and loves reading books. She even reads some to me (think we read them alot??) word for word. Some of the things she says and does makes us totally amazed with how smarty pants she is. Loves coloring, shapes, colors, play doh, painting, driving snowmobiles, doing sommersaults, etc! Shes very protective of her little sis (when she isnt beating her up) Shes growing up waaaaay to fast for this mama.
Macie is growing up fast too! Shes starting to copy words we say and of course seems to understand everything we say and do. She LOVES big sister, and is usually her little shadow. The fighting has begun now that she can stick up for herself (or should I say screaming...) Usually one good screech gets her back her toy from Kenzie. :)
Thats about all thats new here... after one last big snowfall and a last snowmobile ride.. we are looking forward to spring!
