Home and loving it..

Thanks to Jillayne, you all have gotten pics on here the past few days. Now we are home and adjusting and realizing we never knew we could love so much. <3
Heres the story.... if youd like to know.
Tuesday morning, i woke up a feeling a little pain, not much of anything and it was the first time i had felt anything... so got a little excited. I was bleeding a very little, but called the doc to see what to do. They had us come in for a stress test being I was overdue, and at that time I was only 1cm dialated and 70% effaced. They sent me home being contractions were not regular nor very painful.
So......the laundry got done, floors vaccumed, swept and mopped, toilets cleaned, beds changed, dishes done, lawn mowed and flowers watered.
We left for the hospital Wednesday morning around 1:45am. We got there and in the Triage room around 2am, and found out my contractions were coming every 6-7 mins and lasting 1-2 mins long. I was 100% effaced and 6.5 cm dialated. They got a birthing room ready for me, and the midwife got there around 3am, checked me again and I was 7.5 dialated. Brendon was AMAZING.. helping me thru contractions.. alot of back labor and I never got on the bed. We then tried the bath tub and after one contraction in there I felt like baby was coming out! Our midwife had stepped out of the room and Brendon reassured himself baby wouldnt just fall out. :) She came back in and I told her how I felt.. she said no way Im ready to push, but get out and she'd check. She kept telling me the first baby never comes this quick. However, I got on the bed then and they saw babys head... so the pushing began. At 4:36am, Makenzie Jean Reese arrived. What an amazing experience....
I was reminded again how lucky I am... to have such an awesome husband, and now awesome family. Wow.
Mom is here for the week, and because she is, we are getting good meals. :) My laundry is getting done, and Makenzie is getting spoiled. (not shocking). She is amazing. (my mom and Makenzie.) :)
