14 weeks..

Another week has gone by... and we are still busy as ever. Makenzie is back to her normal happy self again! She went thru a little cranky stage.. sleeping, eating, and fussing. Im sure there will be many more of those to come, but we are back enjoying smiles! :)
We got snow this morning... yes snow. It didnt stick thank goodness, but I saw some of those nasty white things flying around. Flying literally being if you step outside you might fly away too! Just listening to the wind makes me freezing. Ive been enjoying snuggles, blankets, coffee and a good book! (still not ready for snow tho!!!)

I suppose that could apply to many things.. Brendon, Makenzie, and my diaper bag. :)
Brendon has been working a little too much for my liking, but Im thankful hes working. Guess it just makesn me more thankful for when hes home. :) However, it makes evenings reeeeally long when hes not home, and Makenzie does NOT do well at night in the car, so Im kinda tied to home. I try to run and get all my errands done and home before dark. Not looking forward to it getting darker sooner! Guess I better get a project started around the house. :) Kenzie is also fighting sleep bigtime, so when she does fall asleep and take a nap, I cherish the moment.
Today Makenzie is 3 months old.... and its also Moms birthday! Happy Birthday to an awesome mom and wonderful grammy. :)

So.. back to my diaper bag... Id been having a bit of a problem with finding a good one, and my lovely friend directed me to Hot Mama Handbags! You can pick your own size, fabric and any extras. I got the button, and the outside zip pocket for the cell phone. Love it. For those of you wanting to see pictures... this post is for you. :)

I also took a picture of what all is in my bag, but its changed already. :) It holds pretty much everything you need with 6 pockets on the inside.. (SO NICE!!)

It also fits my lil peanut. :)

She was a little mesmerized by the print, sitting there taking it all in. She likes it too.

3 months ago today.....

Makenzie Jean started her journey into this world. :) (3 mnths old tmrw). CRAZY! Shes changing by the day... and has started noticing who is holding her. Shes started just wanting mom for right now. Im kinda ok with that. :) Shes talking lots and chewing on whatever she can get her hands around. :) (pic by Auntie Jay)

Shes getting more and more excited when she sees things she likes, toys, paci, before feeding. So cute! Last Sunday before meeting, she giggled out loud. First time! Apparently she was excited to be in mtg. :)

12 weeks

Yes- really- today Makenzie is 12 weeks old. Here are a few pics I took today, actually have a moment to put them on (Brendon is still working, and Makenzie is sleeping.... I should be doing other things.. but if I dont get these up Ill be getting a call from a sister or mom im sure... ;) ) hehe.

These were taken one after the other... she was smiling and talking to me, and then grabbed her shirt to eat it, and back to smiling again, (after looking at me wondering why that camera was still up there). :)

This week Makenzie has been double-fisting it and still drooling like crazy! I was holding her while printing off pics at target... and my shirt and the floor were a bit wet. :)

Brendon was looking at some videos on the laptop.. and Makenzie was very into it. I was laughing so hard She'd look at me, a bit confused, and back at the screen.

Papa came up to help at Tim and Jays, and stopped in for a few snuggles. (will be more later this week. :))

Happy October! Oh wait.. its already day 5 of October! Im loooving this weather! Not a cloud in the sky, sun is shining, and 73 degrees. Now why cant this stay around for a few more months?
Ive come to realize Im a little addicted to Etsy (and chocolate... but thats nothing new). Everytime I get off that website, I think I need to go make something, or paint, or maybe just invest in a sewing machine and eventually Ill figure out how to use it. :) (actually... that would be a great idea) But maybe someday. Anyways, I just ordered a new diaper bag off there... and i CANNOT wait to get it! Ive had no space in the one I have, and am constantly pulling stuff out to get to other stuff (and amazingly enough, Brendon understands.) :) Now if only I could get him convinced that I really do need a new pair of shoes....... ;)
Well Makenzie is still growing like a weed. 11 weeks tomorrow! She loves to talk/coo and smiles all the time. Lately, if we are driving in the dark (shes usually tired and cranky) she screams all the way home. So. not. cool. However, she apparently needs her sleep! She went to bed at 10pm last night, and didnt wake up til 7:45am! Was up for maybe 5 mins, and back to sleep til 9am. Shes had a happy happy day!

We have this constant drooling and fist/anything in mouth action going on....

My lil girl Eva again... everytime Kenzie fusses now, its "I think she wants to take a picture with me". :)

We have started to get a little ambitious around here. Im hoping to get another room or two painted before winter sets in..... painting the fence...

And tearing apart the 4-wheeler and putting it back together again... (isnt he cute? :) )

Which makes for a tired evening....

Makenzie had her first bonfire the other night... good thing there was so many snugglers there to keep her warm! (Here is one pic I got... shoulda got more.. but you know how that goes)
