ONE year old....

Well.. its official... Makenzie is ONE. Wow. What a fantastic year of learning for all of us! An awesome experience a year ago made us into a little family.. and life has been full of laughs, tears, giggles, screams, teaching, learning etc etc etc... (as for many years to come Im thinking..) :)
Shes loves to take the jars out of the cupboard and the lids... and will sit there trying to put them on and off for awhile. Smart cookie. :)

Also discovered that climbing on top of the learning table is the new cool thing to do.

And climbing in the bottom of the stove of course.

But also loves to just sit and read. Its amazing this little busy body can be so calm at times. :)

Or climb up in the big chair and play with cars. She feels pretty proud when she gets up here.. turns around, plops down and grins. :)

This is what happened when momma was dipping the cake balls. I heard "mama mama mama mama" reaching for the cake balls while standing at my feet that I finally gave in. Happy Birthday to our lil peanut!

This was a present from Grandpa and Grandma Reese. She loves it!

This was from Great Grandma Reese... Also very fun!

Happy first Birthday Makenzie Jean!

She would NOT eat her cupcake. Did not want to get her fingers dirty.(this is not usual for this girl so kinda took us off guard..) However, lately she has loved to eat with a spoon, so i gave her one, she took one bite but prefered the cake pop better. Silly girl. Its her birthday after all.. so she got what she wanted. :) (and how can you resist that face!??!)

Blowing out the candle

Back to the balloon boquet.

And yet another cake pop. :)

She LOVED hearing "happy birthday" sang to  her. Can you tell?? :)

Daddy helping blow it out.

Tired tired girl after the party... we had a good nap.

After naptime back out to play! Thanks Chad and Anna for another outside toy!

Walking is the next best thing when you are stuck!

Playing with a dolly with dad. This is what its going to look like in a few months... Well sorta. You get the drift. :) Hopefully a little more gentleness from Kenzie

Out to eat with Grammy and Papa. Thanks for coming to help celebrate the big #1! Couldnt have done it without you guys!!!!!
